About The Game
In Pokémon Gold, you begin the role of a brand new trainer, in the brand new never before playable Johto region. Your adventure begins from your mom’s house in New Bark Town and where you set off to Professor Elm’s lab. You’re given one pokemon black and white events to begin with and then are asked to go and complete your Pokédex.
All around Johto, you will be battling, capturing, and training Pokémon, and defeating the eight gym leaders and eventually wind up battling the Elite Four in the Johto Pokémon League.
This is not the end of the journey, as you continue your quest you will be reunited with several characters from the 1st generation Pokémon Games. You actually get to go to Kanto and battle old pals such as Brock, Ash and Misty, and you will unlock some new unique surprises.
Pokémon Gold is a great RPG with so many elements thrown that it’s definitely worth playing. You will go through nine different locations getting eight different badges (and that’s just the first half). The most awesome part of this game is that the entire plot and every subplot is explained and well structured. Pokémon Gold features a decent mix of items, strategy options and attacks.
